| 4.5 kg charas recovered in Kashmir, 2 held | | |

Srinagar, Jan 21: Jammu and Kashmir police today arrested two smugglers and recovered about 4.5 kg of charas in Kashmir valley.
A police spokesman said here this evening that in a routine checking, police arrested one Ghulam Mohammad Allaie alias Gul Allaie and recovered four kg of charas from him at Wachi, in south Kashmir district of Shopian. Official sources said on a tip-off, police arrested one Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Srinagar at Bijbehara on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway. About a half-a-kg charas was recovered from him, they added.
