| 3 held with "toy" pistol at Manda | | | Early Times report
JAMMU, Jan 22: Three Maruti car-borne youth were today apprehended by police from Manda here along with a "toy" pistol.
Police sources said cops of district special branch intercepted a car (JK02P/2314) at Manda and recovered a "toy" pistol from the possession of Rajiv Gupta, son of Mohan Lal Gupta of Poonch House quarters, Panjtirthi, who was travelling in it. He was immediately taken into custody. Two more youth who were inside the car were also apprehended. Sources identified them as Parul Bakshi, son of Sudhir Bakshi, and Vishu Pratap Singh, son of Ravi Kant Singh, both residents of Mohalla Naraniyan. They were later whisked away to Pucca Danga police station. |
