| Migrant Teachers Forum Kashmir meets education minister | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Jan 23: A deputation of Migrant Teachers Forum Kashmir recruited under PM's employment package met the education minister and apprised him the problems regarding the training courses conducted through DIET starting from 25th,jan.2012 in the Kashmir valley. The minister was given a written representation in this regard on 1st Jan.2012 and the minister has forwarded it to the commissioner secretary education and gave a verbal assurance to look into the matter personally. It said that because the winter season is in its full swing in the valley and the migrant teachers have not sufficient arrangements to coup up with the present cold atmosphere which has made them to suffer hard ,besides have been facing difficulties in attending the training course smoothly which is likely to adversely affect their future course. In order to enable them to conduct smooth training of the dept. the short term course may kindly be postponed for the time being and the training courses may be started soon after winter vacation or else may be conducted in Jammu for which the minister have gave them assurance.
