| RBI organizes 8th meeting of TAFCUB | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 23: The eighth Meeting of the State Level Task Force on Urban Co-operative Banks (TAFCUB) was held at RBI Jammu under the Chairmanship of K.K. Saraf, Regional Director for Jammu & Kashmir. The meeting reviewed the performance of the Urban Co-operative Banks functioning in the State of Jammu and Kashmir and discussed the latest policy developments. It was informed that the four banks viz. Citizen's Co-operative Bank Ltd., Jammu, Devika Urban Cooperative Bank Ltd., Udhampur, Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd, Anantnag and Kashmir Mercantile Cooperative Bank Ltd. Sopore will soon be Core Banking Solution ( CBS) compliant with technological help from TCS and Maharashtra based Saraswat Info Tech. Ltd.
The meeting was also attended by Ghulam Rasool, Special Secy. Co-operative Department, Riyaz Ahmad, Jt. Registrar (B&F), Co-op. Societies, Subhash Gupta, Chief Executive, NAFCUB, New Delhi. |
