| JKDF gears up for Local bodies' polls | | Constitutes committee for Ward no 38 | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 23: Jammu Kashmir Democratic Forum (JKDF) held a meeting in ward No 38 in presence of senior members of the ward.
On the occasion, Ramesh Singh Manhas was nominated unanimously as president of JKDF unit of Ward No 38. The other members appointed for ward committee were Joginder Singh Manhas (Romy) as vice president and Pardeep Singh Manhas as General Secretary.
Election of ward committee was held in ward No 38 under the supervision and guidance of senior JKDF leaders Murari Lal, Krishan Lal Gupta, Raja Vivek, Rakesh and Prashant Puri president Youth Wing of the state.
Murari Lal and Krishan Lal Gupta briefed the newly elected committee about the stand and its working for the people of Jammu.
Prashant Puri, President Youth Wing JKDF encouraged youth to come forward for the welfare of Jammu region and for the future of youth of the region in the field of jobs and other opportunities which this NC government has failed to address. He also took stock of the present problems being faced by the ward and urged the masses to give strength to JKDF with its participation. |
