| Burglar arrested, stolen items recovered | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 23: With the arrest of a thief, police today claimed to have worked out many robbery cases and recovered all the stolen items including a laptop. Police said that with the arrest of burglar identified as Vedhya Sagar son of Lakshman of Trikuta Nagar, many cases of burglaries have been resolved. "Based on the inputs provided by the employees of Govt Gandhi Nagar Hospital, sources said, a police team from Police Station Gandhi Nagar rushed to the hospital from where the thief was arrested. "He (thief) had come to commit another robbery in the Govt Gandhi Nagar Hospital. The employees had identified him as they had seen him in the CCTV clips of the hospital, while stealing water taps last night. However, he was caught red handed by the employees and then handed over to police for legal action against him," the police added. During the investigation the arrested disclosed that he had stolen a laptop of a doctor in GMC Hospital, had stolen water taps from SMGS hospital and Kendriaya Vidyalaya-I Gandhi Nagar. On his discloser, police has recovered all the stolen items including the laptop.
