| Kalakote locals protest against erratic power supply | | | | Rajouri, Jan 23: large number of people from all walks of life took out a protest march against erratic power supply and non availability of 50 MVA transformer at Kalakote resulting into long blackouts in the sub division. Locals in large number today protested against the PDD authorities and minister concerned for not mitigating their problems re3lated to power supply. The protestors even have threatened the Govt to boycott the Republic Day celebrations due to the callous approach of the Govt and also threatened to block the road at different places in entire sub-division i.e. Sunderbani, Kalakote and Nowshera. Protestors were demanding concerned authorities to install the 50 MVA transformer before the republic day celebration and not to befool the people by making false statements. |
