Omar didn't tweet on Budgam youth's murder? | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Jan 23: The State chief minister Omar Abdullah has twitted that he spoke to the MP Chief Minister about the attack on a local student in Ujjain. Omar said in his tweet that the MP Chief Minister has assured him about the safety of other Kashmiri students who are engaged in studies in MP. That is a fine gesture by the State Chief Minister. But, what has surprised everybody is the fact that the Internet savvy Chief Minister has said nothing about the brutal murder of a youth in Badipora village of Budgam district. Nazir Ahmad Dar, a youth belonging to Badipora village in Budgam district was mercilessly murdered by unidentified killers yesterday. The gruesome murder of the youth has sent shock waves in the entire area with the people demanding that those responsible for the inhuman act be brought to justice quickly. Strange that the Chief Minister has not found time to either comment on the gruesome murder or post his comments on the twitter site which he does with unbroken regularity about all events those come to his notice. Far better than posting his views on the twitter site, the Chief Minister should issue orders to bring those responsible for the youth's murder to justice. We have had SITs formed for everything else, why not an SIT for this gruesome murder? |
