Arms haul recovered in Rajouri ahead of R-Day

Rajouri, Jan 24: Security forces in a joint operation thwarted the terror design just ahead of the Republic Day with the recovery of huge cache of arms and ammunition in general forest area of Kular in Rajouri district.
Sources said 60 RR and Rajouri police under the supervision of Commandant 60 RR, Colonel Naresh Sood today achieved a major success by busting a hideout and recovering a hige haul of arms and ammunition.
Following a tip off security forces launched a joint operation Kular forest area of Rajouri falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Budhal, sources said adding, "during the search operation of targeted area the troops recovered 1 Ak-56 Rifle, 03 Magazines, 95 Ak Rounds, 04 Grenades, 02 Icon Radio sets, 01 Radioset, 01 Portable Radio, 02 Maps, 11 Detonators, 03 Cold Detonators and 03 Fuses.
This recovery militants arms and ammunitions can be regarded as quite important as the national festival of Republic Day is just one day ahead.
