Importing human resources from Valley to Jammu concerning | Conspiracy against Jammu | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Jan 24: Expressing concerns over the deputing skilled and non skilled staff from Kashmir to Jammu, Jammu State Morcha (JSM) said that the reports human resources are being imported from Kashmir Valley to fill the vacancies in Medical College, Jammu, on account of introduction of Super Specialty facilities is a well planned conspiracy against Jammuites. In a meting held under the chairmanship of its president, Prof Virender Gupta, the members of organization expressed great concern on the reports about faculty members and para medical staff being transferred to fill the vacancies in Govt Medical College, Jammu, on account of introduction of Super Specialty facilities. "There is large number of candidates in Jammu province who have qualified the Para-medical courses and are unemployed yet, they observed and felt that there are also in-service qualified candidates who have good experience and expertise and waiting for promotion in different disciplines. JSM asks the State Government not to ignore the people of Jammu province and take care of their interests too. It also demands for 100 % employment of Jammuites against the posts, vacant in Jammu Province. Further expressing concerns over misuse of cross Line of Control (LoC) Points, the JSM calls upon the state and centre to tighten its security mechanism on the Cross-LOC transit points in Jammu and Kashmir State in the light of the misusing of these transit points for smuggling, infiltration and importing fake currency notes. "There had been news that ISI and terrorist groups in Pakistan are using these cross- LOC transit points for subversive activities and the recent reports about seizure of Rs 2.24 Crore worth fake Indian currency notes, smuggled into our side of LOC from Chakan-da- Bagh transit point and then transshipped to Delhi speaks of well- planned conspiracy of ruining the India's economy. "The smuggling also becomes the feeding ground for Hawala rackets that operate in the country to help the terrorist groups, JSM members observed and urged the Home Department of the State as well as that of centre to take cognizance of narco-smuggling and take appropriate steps against it that prove to be deterrent against such types of activities. JSM leaders asked the centre to warn the Pakistan and other terrorism promoting agencies in Pakistan if their nefarious anti-India activities are not stopped it shall be compelled to reply back in the same coin. JSM further urged the Government if anti- India activities do not stop from across the LOC it should close the Cross- LOC connectivity. Among those who attended the meeting are Nathu Ram Gupta, Chandra Uday Sharma, Prof. Davinder Sharma, Sh. V.D.Dogra, Ramesh Gupta, and Yash Pal Gupta. |
