| Coca Cola India defeats Berger Paints by 18 runs | | | Jammu|January 16
Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Pvt. Limited Jammu (HCCBPL) and Berger Paints Samba played a series of two cricket matches on 07.01.2007 and 14.01.2007 at GGM Science college grounds. The cricket matches were played with great interest & enthusiasm by both the teams.
First match Results: Coca Cola won by 18 runs (Final Score Coca Cola 140-8 in 20 overs, Berger Paints 122 all out in 19 overs).
Second Match Results: Coca Cola won by 4 wickets (Score Berger Paints 112 in 22 overs, Coca Cola 113-6 in 18.3 overs).
Both matches were won by Coca Cola comfortably. Jaswinder Singh, Anurag Srivastava from Coca Cola received the "man of the match" awards on respective days.
From HCCBPL Jammu AGM Pankaj Thapliyal said that company has tradition of actively promoting sports, is committed to sports and would organize more matches and participate in major tournaments regularly. HCCBPL is also organizing a Badminton Tournaments for its own employee, which will start from 31.01.2006. |
