| 16 injured in road accident in Rajouri | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Jan 27: At least 16 people today got injured in a road accident in Siot area of Nowshera tehsil of Rajouri district.
As per report, a matador bearing registration number JK11- 1469 was on its way from Agrati to Sunderbani when its suddenly met an accident in Siot area leaving the passengers injured. Soon after receiving the information of accident, teams of health department and police reached on the spot while locals of the area also came forward for rescue.Soon the injured were shifted to Sub-district hospital Nowshera where few of them having minor injuries were discharged while other are under medical treatment.
When some concerned officials were contacted in the matter, they said that the main cause of accident is not known.
However, some people present on the spot said that negligence of driver and over speeding of vehicle has caused this accident. |
