| Woman poisons two daughters, kills self | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Poonch, Jan 27: A 35-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide today after poisoning her two minor daughters to death in Poonch district, police said.
They said that before consuming the poison, Jamila Bi poisoned her two daughters -- Parveen Akhtar (10) and Iram Sallem (4) at her house in Gauntrian village.
Their bodies were recovered from the house, they said, which were later rushed to the government hospital for post-mortem.
The reason behind the incident was not ascertained as such, however, a case has been registered in this connection and further investigation was in progress. |
