| Ishar assumes charge as Jammu University VC | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 27: Mohan Pal Singh Ishar today took over as the new Vice-Chancellor of University of Jammu at a function, here. Dr Ishar replaced outgoing VC Professor Varun Sahni. The Professor is the first localite to be appointed to such a coveted post. After handing over the charge to Dr Ishar, the outgoing VC Prof Sahni thanked the university fraternity for support in making the University of Jammu as one of the premier institutions of the world.
Dr Ishar said, I had visited the campus after 33 years and being in my hometown, it will be an honour for me to bring more reformation and changes in the field of education.
