RAJOURI, Jan 27: A colourful programme was organised in far flung and border area of Panjgrian Chamba situated in Tarkundi sector near LoC to celebrate the 63rd Republic Day. This area is few kilometres away from border and shadow of militants and enemies has always revolved around here. But the nationalism and patriotism of locals of the area can be judged from the fact that assisted by army, they (locals) organised a great parade and cultural programme on the occasion Republic day in Govt High School Panjgrian Chamba.
After the national flag hoisting, students of the school and other nearby schools organised a parade and presented cultural items which were appreciated by locals and army personnel present there.
Later, army and school management presented awards and gifts to the students who took part in the programme.
