| PDD daily wagers to hold continuous regular dharna | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Jan 27: In order to convince the state coalition Omar led Govt to regularize the PDD daily wagers, the protest dharna of PDD daily wagers has been converted into continuous regular dharna for 24 hours daily at power substation Hatli Morh, Kathua.
On the occasion the district president of the PDD Daily Wagers Association Ram Krishan and vice president Susheel Kumar Sharma (Lucky) strongly resented the Omar Govt for befooling thousands of PDD daily wagers and made their mockery with doing false and fake commitment in respect of regularization of all the daily wagers on several occasion.
They said that about 24 months ago the PDD daily wagers launched a massive and effective 66 days long protest demonstration in favour of our demands for regularization, and the CM Omar Abdullah had then committed and assured to frame a policy for regularization within fifteen days, but all the assurances proved bogus.
They said now the ongoing protest dharna will be going on till the demands are not addressed and solved by the state coalition Government. Meanwhile the district president of Sparsh Indian Foundation Manuj Kaser declared its full support to PDD Daily wagers.
