| Workshop on broadcasting skills inaugurated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 27:A five day workshop on broadcasting skills was inaugurated today Govt. College for Women Parade Jammu, in collaboration with department of life long learning (University of Jammu).Poonam Dhawan, Director Department of Lifelong Learning was the chief guest on the occasion.
Reeta Jitendra former principal and Sumit Sharma programme officer, Parsar Bharti Broadcasting Corporation of India, were the resource person for the workshop for the first day. Kavita Suri and Bharti Prabakar from department of Lifelong Learning were also present on the occasion. The inaugural session started with the welcome speech by Shashi Koul, HOD, PG Home Science (CRM&E).
She emphasized on the importance of training for effectiveness and efficiency. The principal of the College Kiran Bakshi addressed the audience and encouraged the students to participate in such kind of workshops to chisel their skills which will help them in all round development of their personality and to get professionalism in their job.
She also stressed that inculcation of such skills will enable the students to earn while they learn. Poonam Dhawan while interacting with the students informed them about the different training programmes offered by the Department of Lifelong Learning and encouraged the stakeholders to join these programme to enhance their skills.
Nidhi Kotwal compared the inaugural session and also presented the vote of thanks. |
