Bharat Nirman campaign being launched

As part of pre-publicity of Bharat Nirman Publicity Information Campaign being launched in R.S.Pura block from 19-21 January, 2007 by Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, the Kathua Unit of Directorate of Field Publicity organised its first programme of the PIC at Government Girls High School, Satriyan yesterday.. The day-long programme was chaired by Smt.Satya Sharma, Headmaster of the School.
The Chairperson apprised the audience about the features of ensuing Public Information Campaign being launched in the R.S.Pura Block. On this occasion, a team of experts., led by Dr.Jyoti Rao and Dr.Kusam Sharma interacted with the audience and provided detailed information about National Rural Health Mission. Other participants also highlighted various aspects of the subject and urged upon the rural people to curb social evils from the society.
Later, a Registered Party of Song & Drama Division namely Chaman Lal Premi and Party enthralled the audience by way of presenting colourful cultural/magic item.
Similar type of programme was organised by Doda Unit of DFP at Government High School, Keer-Pind. The function was presided over by Smt.Sneh Lata, Headmaster of the |School. The speakers highlighted recently introduced Right to Information Act which is mainly aimed at to bring accountability and transparency in carrying out developmental works and other policies and programmes of the Government.
The Rajouri Unit organised a Seminar under the banner “National Rural Health Mission” at Government High School, Ban-Sultan. The programme was chaired by Shri Anoop Singh, Headmaster of the School. Besides students of the school, inhabitants of Ban Sultan witnessed the programme. The resource persons laid special emphasis on the policies and programmes of the Government with regard to health facilities being provided to the rural masses. Besides AIDS, other related subjects incorporated in National Rural Health Mission viz. Save the Girl Child, Iodine Deficiency Disorders etc. were also highlighted. The function concluded with presentation of colourful progragramme by Vishwanath & Party of Song and Drama Division.
