Police to approach court for attachment of property of Delhi HC blast accused | Seeks details of income sources from family members | | Asif Iqbal Naik kishtwar, Jan 27: After collecting details pertaining to moveable and immoveable property and bank accounts of active militants in Kishtwar District including that of those involved in Delhi High Court blast on September 7 last wherein 16 people were killed and injuring about 80 others, Kishtwar police has decided to approach the court for attachment of the property of all the active militants. According to police officials in Kishtwar, Kishtwar police has so far identified the properties of two HM militants including Divisional Commander of the organization Mohammad Amin Butt @ Jahangir son of Mohammad Anwar Butt resident of Badhat Saroor and Sajjad Ahmed@ Rizwan son of Noor Hussain Mir resident of Tachna Dacchan. Police said that after receiving the property details from the revenue authorities, the police is preparing the case dairy to submit the report to court so that the court will issue necessary directions to the concerned authorities for attachment of the property of these accused who have already been declared absconder under section 512 in various criminal cases registered at various police stations in Kishtwar District and some among these cases are presently under trail in courts at Kishtwar. As per the details submitted by the revenue authorities in response to Kishtwar police letter No:1958-5-I dated 23-11-2011 issued from the office Dy SP HQ Kishtwar, Tehsildar Kishtwar vide his office letter No: 1017/19/OQ dated 4-1-2012 stated that under Mutation No:403 share of 1 Kanal and 04 Marlas stands registered on the name of Mohammad Amin Butt @Jahangir in village Badhat of Saroor area in Kishtwar District, beside there is also land measuring 2 Kanal 8 Marlas registered on the name of two brothers of Mohammad Amin Butt @ Jahinghir at Kishtwar. While 3.5 Marlas land with construction of house on it stands registered on the name of another HM militant Sajjad Hussain Mir@Rizwan in Tachna village in Dachhan under jurisdiction of Tehsil Marwah. Meanwhile, after collecting the details of bank accounts, Water Connections, electric connections and immoveable property, Kishtwar police has shouted letters to the family members of all the militants involved in Delhi High court blast and seeks the details of source of income and money laying in various bank account at different banks in Kishtwar District including J&K Bank, Cooperative Bank, Punjab National Bank and State Bank. The police has also told the family members to disclose the source of both moveable and immoveable property which is registered on their name as well as on the names of their family members including wives and children. The police officials have also seeks the details of accumulated wealth by some of the local separatist leaders in Kishtwar District including that of the business establishment run by the children of these separatist leaders. |
