| Rural artisans welfare society Organises 'Craft Bazar 2012' | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 28: A Craft Bazaar 2012 was inaugurated on Saturday by Saifuddin Soz , Hon'ble Parliament Member (Rajya Sabha) at Kala Kendra, Bikram Chowk.
The craft bazaar was organized by Rural Artisans Welfare Society a Non Government organization (N.G.O) working in the field of Development of Handicrafts artisans. In the inaugural function Soz lauded Handicraft Artisans and their products who had come from U.P , Bihar, Rajasthan, M.P. West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir to exhibit their products in this Craft Bazaar. Speaking on occasion he assured Handicraft Artisans for every kind of help from the state Government in the problems like sale taxes and others.
Soz in his speech lauded Rajeev Pandita president Rural Artisans Welfare Society for organising such an exhibition for Rural Artisans of the country.
Speaking on occasion he also assured for all kinds of support for organizing similar exhibitions for the welfare of Rural Artisans of J&K.
Others who spoke on the occasion was Khemlata Wakhloo Chair person J&K central social welfare board.
At last a formal vote of thanks was given by Rajeev Pandita president Rural Artisans Welfare Society. |
