| Muharram arrangements finalized at Pattan | | | Pattan, January 16
Arrangements for providing basic amenities to the people during the auspicious days of Muharram were finalized at a meeting of officers here today.
The meeting was among others attended by representatives of Shia community, which discussed in detail various matters like provision of drinking water, power supply, sanitation, first aid etc.
It was apprised that renovation and repairs of roads through which Tazia processions would be taken out have been undertaken on war footing. Uninterrupted water and power supply would be ensured in Shia dominated areas during these days. |
