| Corruption charges framed against then Naib Tehsildar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Jan 28 : Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu framed corruption charges against Mohd Asghar Bhat then Naib Tehsildar presently attached with Joint Agrarian Reforms Commissioner Jammu and facing trial u/s 420/467/468/RPC r/w section 5(1) (d) r/w 5(2) PC Act Svt 2006.
According to the Case that in the year 2006 while Mohd Asghar Bhat attached with Joint Agrarian Reforms Commissioner Jammu demanded and accepted illegal gratification of Rs 20,000 from complainant Chain Singh for making entries in revenue record regarding land measuring 8 Marlas in Khasra NO 324 Min located at Bahu-Fort and house constructed in the name of complainant. The accused by illegal means prepared forged fake documents and report of concerned Patwari and copy of Khasra Girdawari and delivered the same to complainant and obtained pecuniary advantage and further destroyed the seal used in forging such documents.
