| Life-imprisonment to father & his two sons in a 'murder case' | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Jan 28: 1st Additional Sessions Judge Jammu today awarded life-imprisonment to Bhagwan Dass @ Bhana and his two sons namely Shiv Kumar @ Shivu & Raj Kumar @ Bittu who were facing trial for the last 11 years.
1st Additional Sessions Judge Jammu KS Parihar today awarded life-imprisonment to Bhagwan Dass @ Bhana and his two sons namely Shiv Kumar @ Shivu & Raj Kumar @ Bittu who were facing trial for the last 11 years. Court after hearing APP Harpal Singh for the State whereas Sr. Adv MA Goni appeared for the accused persons awarded life imprisonment to to Bhagwan Dass @ Bhana and his two sons namely Shiv Kumar @ Shivu & Raj Kumar @ Bittu and fine Rs 10,000 each u/s 302/34 RPC. According to the police case that on February 27, 2011 a verbal report was lodged by one Harnaik Singh that on the day of occurrence accused namely Shiv Kumar @ Shivu, Raj Kumar @ Bittu & Bhagwan Dass @ Bhana assaulting his brother Devinder Singh. Baghwan Dass and Shiv Kumar caught the deceased from arms whereas Raj Kumar @ Bittu pulled out a Krich and stuck a blow on the chest of the brother of complainant and he fell on ground that the accused after commission of crime fled away from the scene of occurrence. That injured was shifted to RS Pura Hospital and injured was referred to GMC Jammu but the deceased succumbed to his injuries and police registered a case u/s 302/34 RPC and started investigation. After completion of investigation challan was presented in the Court of Law on June 25, 2011. (JNF) |
