2 yrs imprisonment, fine awarded to driver | Sessions Judge killing accident case | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Kathua, Jan 28: District Mobile Magistrate Kathua today awarded two years imprisonment and fine Rs 5000 to Ritesh Kumar @ Bitu driver of video coach bus which collided with a car resulting into death of RK Magotra then Session Judge Kathua and three others while 20 others were injured. District Mobile Magistrate Kathua YP Sharma after hearing the both sides today awarded 2 years imprisonment and fine Rs 5000 to Ritesh Kumar @ Bitu driver of Video u/s 304-A RPC in which District & Sessions Judge RK Magotra (at that time posted as Principal Sessions Judge Kathua) & 3 others were died and 20 persons were injured. Court further awarded sentence one year and fine Rs 1000/- u/s 338 RPC, 6 months imprisonment u/s 337 & six months u/s 279 RPC. Court further said that all the sentences shall run concurrently According to the Police case on June 9, 2003 at 7:45 AM an information was received from reliable source at P/S Kathua that an accident took place in which many passengers from the Bus and car got injured.
