| Education key to socio-economic dev: Rana | | | Early Times Report
Bajalta, Jan 29: Describing education as key factor in socio-economic development and grooming of young generation into responsible and qualified citizens, Political Advisor to Chief Minister Devender Singh Rana today laid stress on imparting of moral education of academic excellence. "Schools should be the seat of learning and institutions of human resource development," Rana said emphasizing the need for nurturing the children in a proper way as would enable them to face the futuristic challenges bravely. Rana who was addressing the Annual Day Function of Diamond Public School at Bajalta here today claimed that coalition government led by Omar Abdullah has flagged growth of education sector on modern lines as one of the most important concerns in the government policy planning. He said while attention is being laid on the development of necessary infrastructure focusing on providing befitting facilities to ensure quality education to the students. The CM's Political Advisor said universalization of education and reaching out to far flung areas in the primary, secondary and higher secondary education fields is being simultaneously carried forward. |
