BJP asks CM to come clear on Article 370 | Why blame on Industrialists for not investing in J&K | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Jan 29: Terming Article 370 as biggest hurdle in the development of Jammu & Kashmir, Bhartiya Janta Party said that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has also admitted this by issuing statement at New Delhi that industrialists have not given response on investing in the state. In a press statement issued here, State Secretary of Bhartiya Janta Party, Advocate Vibodh Gupta has said that on the sidelines of release of "Perception of Survey of media impact on Kashmir" at New Delhi, Omar Abdullah has stated that industrialists have not given any encouraging response in the state despite repeated proposals sent to them. He said that the statement is contradictory to article 370. "On one hand Omar Abdullah is expecting that Industrialist should come in the state but on the other hand he is not suggesting for abrogation of Article 370". Gupta said that this speaks about the double standard game being played by the Chief Minister with the people of Jammu & Kashmir. Questioning, why Omar is not coming forward openly for abrogation of Article 370 from Indian Constitution, he said, "Let Omar not play double standard game and let us demand openly for abrogation of Article 370". He said that if Chief Minister really want that Industrialists should come and invest in J&K, he must openly support the public cause of abrogation of article 370. He added that the abrogation will pave way for jobs in J&K and all unemployed youth can be absorbed in the industries to be opened by the industrialists in this state. Criticizing fresh recruitment rules, BJP leader said, "Youth must realize the dis advantage of article 370 and must support for its abrogation. |
