| PM package employees neglected by the government | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 29: A delegation of Vessu Employees Committee here today met with DC Kulgam and apprised him of the problems they are facing since the fall of first snowfall. Employees said that they have been neglected by the government as there are no facilities provided by the government to cope up with the winters. They said that no body from the administration has come forward to see the condition of the employees. Employees further said that a part from the clearance of the Snow and providing of water and electricity nothing has been done and life without water and electricity has become hell here. Employees further said that Relief Department has become a mute spectator as problems are being neglected by the concerned department and nothing has been done by the concerned DC Relief and Relief Commissioner. They further said that No shops are available in the colony to supply essential items like LPG,Ration,Vegetables to the employees.Employees said that where Relief Commissioner has failed in providing the basic facilities DC Kulgam assured the delegation of Vessu Employees Committee that there problems will be solved and on humanitarian grounds basic necessities like drinking water and electricity will be provided. |
