KPs not affiliated with any political party of state: KPC | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 29: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) chief Kundan Kashmiri while condemning the statement of some selfish KP elements and hand picked yes-men of government, for exploiting the community for their selfish interests, stated that Kashmiri Pandit Community in general is not affiliated or attached with any political party of state and would also not like to do so in future, because they all have anti KP agenda and responsible for their mass exodus. In a press statement issued from New Delhi, president KPC Kundan Kashmiri stated it is their biased attitude and anti KP policies which made to suffer KP community in exile from last 22 years and also avoided to accept their demands like consolidated rehabilitation, passage of shrine bill, age relaxation to KP youths and other demands. Kundan Kashmiri KPC chief who chaired the meeting of members of forum said that anti KP policies are also evident by the rigid attitude of these Kashmiri Muslim leaders running the polity of the J&K state time to time, to keep KP's away from all participation and activities related to politics and development of the state. Commenting on the statement of J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Kundan Kashmiri KPC chief stated that it is these so called secularist organizations of the state responsible who did not allow or encourage to get emerge a leader within KP Community, all though KP community has competent and sincere leaders but Govt. does not like to talk them. He further said that these politicians cannot ignore the KP's for the longer period now and would be forced to initiate dialogue with KP's, all though they have no vote bank, but they are excellent opinion maker which keeps much weight and effect on over all society of the state, country |
