| AIDS Awareness programme hold by NDKM | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 30: In collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society, Jammu, Nav Durga Kala Manch a theatre group held AIDS awareness programme at Muthi Maira Ward no 7 and Ward No. 8, Jourian, Tehsil Akhnoor, Jammu & Kashmir. The artists who performed the play included Aaditya Bhanu, Reetu Manhas, Dilshad Shazi and Tarun Sharma. The play was written by Shashi Bhushan and executed by Aaditya and his team. The artist entertained the villagers as well awared them through the medium of their acting. Kunti Devi, Panch, Ward No. 6 and Ramesh Singh, Naib Sarpanch, Ward No. 8 were present on the occasion along with number of residents were witnessed the play. NDKM aware the local villagers about AIDS, its causes, prevention and its control through play and mimicry items Chief guests and villagers appreciated the efforts of the Manch to create awareness in villages. They also appealed to organize such awareness programs in future too. |
