| Civilian killed in Baramulla | | | Srinagar|January 16
Unidentified gunmen suspected to be the militants fired upon and killed a civilian at main market Wagoora, in Baramulla district of north Kashmir.
Informed sources told News Agency of Kashmir that some unidentified gunmen believed to be the militants appeared in main market Wagoora and fired upon a civilian, sources said adding that the civilian was critically injured.
Identified as Mohammed Shafi Lone, 30 son of Ghulam Mohammed resident of Nowpora Kreeri, was immediately shifted to hospital, however, he succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.
The deceased was an employee in electricity department and FIR in this regard has been lodged in police station Kreeri. Sources added. |
