| Cong Seva Dal holds meeting | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 30:Congress Seva Dal Jammu (Urban) today organized a meeting in ward no. 14 of Bhagwati Nagar area. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Vipan Nischal. Vinod Sharma (General Secretary PCC) was the chief guest. Sharma addressed the gathering. Nischal said that there is severe problem of shortage of electricity. Considering seriously, Nischal assured residents not to worry as Congress Seva Dal will put its best efforts to provide full comfort to the general public. Stressing over eradication of corruption, Nischal assured general public that Congress high Command will not spare anyone who is found guilty in case of corruption. Not even the officials will be spared in such cases, he added. While addressing the gathering, he stressed on unity, true Secularism and democracy. He said that true democracy is that where an individual does not fail to raise his voice for his rights.
He also said that Congress Seva Dal must unite and make efforts to support congress members, who will contest forthcoming municipal and corporate elections. Nischal urged the party workers to go in their respective wards and bring awareness among the people about the achievements of the congress regime. He created awareness among the people to make the right use of their votes.
Nischal directed the office bearers to be prepared for coming municipal elections in the state and ensure victory of Congress candidates in majority. Among the present were J.K.Koul, S.S Jamwal, Anil Sharma, Sanjeshwar Singh, R.L.Choudhary, Ishpal Singh, Raj Kumar, Krishan Lal, Kanta Devi, Smt. Taro Devi, Kanta Jamwal, Kanta gupta, Miss. supriya chauchan, jagannath, Babli gupta, Babli, sansaro devi, Mr.Raina, Mrs. Lalta Sharma etc.
