JK Bank accords warm send-off to 11 officers

Srinagar, Jan 31: J&K Bank extended a warm farewell to eleven of its officers who attained their superannuation today. Executive Presidents, Tafazal Hussain and G M Sahibzada presented bouquets to the retirees Vice-president Syed Abdul Hamid, Senior Executive Manager Mushtaq Ahmad Ansari and Executive Manager Bashir Ahmad in a simple function held at Corporate Headquarters of the bank. Presidents Mohammad Afzal Khan, Abdul Rashid, Bashir Ahmad Lone, Vice-Presidents and other Executives were also present on the occasion. Chairman and CEO Mushtaq Ahmad in his message from Jammu hailed the services of these officers and extended good wishes to them and their families. After giving an over-view of his 39-year long career in the Bank, Syed Abdul Hamid said, "I am thankful to my colleagues who have been generous to me all along and I leave the Bank today with a sound sense of satisfaction and regard."Thanking Almighty, Bashir Ahmad, expressed his gratitude towards the Bank and his colleagues for having learned a lot in their company and retiring with dignity and honour. Mushtaq Ahmad Ansari also extended his thanks to the Bank's management and his colleagues saying that he was leaving the Bank with a keen sense of worth after investing the most productive part of his life into the Bank.Concluding the meeting Tafazal Hussain, executive President,said, "It is a difficult moment for all of us but nevertheless it is also a moment of accomplishment for all of us today.
We have invested efforts and emotions in shaping the destiny of this great institution with unflinching loyalty and we will never ignore any contribution that went into its making even after retirement from active services".
Addressing the younger executives of the Bank, he said, "Challenges are emerging which our successors have to tackle with grit and sound guidance so that our march towards glorious heights continues." "Operational efficiency is an every-hour affair in today's financial world and there is no alternative to stay put and succeed", he emphasized.
The other retirees include Senior Executive Managers Mohammad Hus sain Gatoo, Abdul Rashid Hakim, Executive Managers Ghulam Nabi Wani, Habib-Ullah, Avtar Singh Sambyal, Sandhur Singh Manhas, Hassan Shah and Senior Executive Bharat Bhushan Anand.
