| Deputation led by Jugal Kishore calls on CM | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 31: A deputation from Katra led by former Minister Jugal Kishore today called on Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah here and discussed various matters pertaining to the development of Katra with him.
The deputationist requested the Chief Minister for SDM for the town, a degree college and reservation of 50 percent seats in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University for the students of the State and 10 percent for Reasi district. Other issues raised during the meeting included upgradation of 500 meters link from railway station to the Katra town as a part of the link road connecting railway station to SMVD University and construction of Pony track from Katra to Army Camp. The Chief Minister gave patient hearing and said that the holistic development of pilgrim city Katra is on priority agenda of the government. He said the suggestions put forth by the deputation in a memorandum would be looked into for necessary action. |
