Some locals said even as they had CAPD ration cards and cards of revenue department, they were not being given kerosene oil at the government depot here. The oil was being sold in black, they alleged. They said to get the sanctioned quota of 5 lt of kerosene oil from the depot, they had to take rounds of revenue department to get a slip issued in their names. "We lose our precious time in visiting the revenue department to get a slip," Nasir Ahmad said and added, "The old method of kerosene oil distribution must be restored." They alleged that the oil was being sold in black to minibus operators who ran their vehicles on kerosene oil and not on diesel.
