JDC concerned over 'traffic congestion' in walled city | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 31: Jammu Development Council, Jammu held its meeting under the chairmanship of Krishan Lal Abrol, president of Council, Jammu province in which members expressed concerns over traffic congestion and lack of proper parking places within the old city Jammu which is taking toll of trade in the said locality. Speaking in the meeting Krishen Lal Abrol said to complete the Mubarak Mandi Project and others projects in time the works should be undertaken under double shift. He also demanded development of circular road, parking facilities within old city. Abrol and others speakers said the Jammu Development Council demands from state government to beautify the old city alongwith the Mubarak Mandi Project so tourism potential of areas is properly tapped Amongst others who attended the meeting includes K L Saraf, Chairman JDA Council, Ashok Kumar Nischal, Sr Vice President JDC SK Sharma, General Secretary, Naveen Nischal, Vice president Ram Kumar, Nischal, Additional General Secretary Rajinder Kumar Puri and others. |
