Peerzada’s effigies burnt for misusing office

Jammu, Jan 31: National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) today held a massive protest demonstration against the state school education minister, Peerzada Mohammad Syed for misusing his office to help his son pass the secondary school exam at canal road opp. SPMR College of commerce, Jammu.
Activists of the NPSU raised slogans against Peerzada and burnt the effigy of the Peerzada.
Addressing the media persons Partap Singh Jamwal (provincial President NPSU) said that school education minister Peerzada Mohd. Sayeed passed his son in the matriculation examination in 2009 through unfair means in connivance with the BOSE officials.
He said that same has been done by the former minister for roads and buildings G M Saroori.
He lost his ministry on the charges of impersonation, the action was taken after the Congress high command had conveyed to Omar Abdullah that Saroori no longer enjoyed the confidence of the party to be in the ministry.
Pressure mounted on Saroori to resign soon after the name of his daughter figured in an impersonation scandal in a medical college in Jammu.
Now when the allegations of using unfair means to get his son through by the Education Minister, fresh debate has started as to whether Peerzada Sayed should quit as minister on moral grounds or pressure should mount on him to make him so.
Jamwal said that the case against Peerzada is more strong that that against G M Saroori, he should be sacked immediately.
He said the most of the ministers of this NC-Cong. Coalition govt. are involved in the corruption whether it is case of cheating, land grabbing and using their posts to benefits their familes.
Jamwal demanded that an immediate action should be taken on this incident and the ministry of Peerzada Mohd. Sayeed should be sacked and inquiry should be done as earlier as possible and all the verdicts including Peerzada should be punished doe this kind of act.
Others who were present in this protest included Mahesh Bakshi, Arun Jamwal, Devinder Singh, Angat Kumar, Vikram Partap singh, sunny Sharma, Vishal Sadotra, sidhant dogra, Shiv Kumar Thakur, Sahil, Lalit Kumar, Rajat Chib, Mohit anand, Prikishat Jamwal, yogeshwar singh, Rahul Dev,Deepak Kumar, anwar, abinash Bhagat, Kamal Preet Singh, Rinku sharma, Abinandan, Sachin Singh etc.
