| Mess alleged at New Delhi's J-K House | | | Early Times Report
New Delhi, Jan 31 : The staff members in resident com-missioner's office in Jammu and Kashmir House here , are aghast over the "mal-practices" of incharge principal Resident commissioner Abdul Majid Gania.
Interestingly Gania , who was conferred IAS recently, has been holding the position in the commissioner's office for last five years with his art of sycophancy.
Gania managed his posting in the J-K house during Ghulam Nabi Azad's tenure as CM.
Pertinent to mention Gania's consort also happens to hold the prestigious post of Director Information in Resident Commissioner 's office here since then.
Surprisingly, Majid Gania, was posted as incharge principal Resident Commissioner by the present government after Ashok Kumar Angurana, IAS, Principal Secretary to Government was sent on central deputation by the state government last year.
The peeved staff members have now written to the governor N N Vohra for his interference in the affairs of the house besides urged him to probe in to the misdeeds of Gania during his tenure in J-k house.
According to sources, Gania's consort /mentor keeps on changing with the change in the corridors of powers and presently is believed to be very close to minister of state.
According to highly placed sources, chief secretary Madhav Lal took has been briefed about the "misdeeds" of the officer-in-question by the staff in New Delhi. |
