Besides, he had been detained by police twice under Public Safety Act (PSA) in past few years," disclosed sources in police department further adding that "the police raids headed by SHO police station Bakshi Nagar, Inspector Sameer Jelaani, continued till late night but it could not yield fruitful results. Even some police personnel in civil dress have also been deputed in different parts but every time the criminal in question managed to dodge the raiding party."
Sources further indicated, "that the entire night it remained virtual cat-mouse chase and every time the mouse managing to drive from one street to another on a red coloured motorbike. The gangster has few days back attempted assault on innocent civilians in area falling under the jurisdiction of police post Sarwal falling under Police Station Bakshi Nagar. Sub Inspector Ravi Parihar is in-charge Police Post, Sarwal."
"Accompanied by few more criminals already facing charges of attempt to murder and murder cases, the top gangster has managed to establish several hideouts in different city parts. Even yesterday night, he again appeared in Shakti Nagar area and thrashed a shopkeeper. However, the terror of the said gang is so much that the shopkeeper did not even approached the police for help. It was only after a passerby informed the police. Before the police party could reach the spot, the group managed to flee. It is now more than a week that the criminal in question is still at large," revealed sources.
