DCT to continue fight against corruption | | | EARLY TIMES Report Jammu, Feb 1: Dabgotra's Charitable Trust continued its fight against corruption by following on the foot steps of social reformers like Swami Ramdev, Anna Hazare and Subramanian Swamy. Dabgotra's Charitable Trust settler/chairman Som Nath Dabgotra in a press statement today said that their Trust is against the corruption all over the country mainly in J&K state because J&K state is on the top when comes to corruption so our Trust has filled a RTI application here before the Health and Medical Education Dept. Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir. In his RTI the chairman of the trust, Som Nath Dabgotra has demanded details of the total amount spend in the construction of the additional emergency block, for purchasing machines, amount allocated, operation theater, lift, cabins, fire system, water system, sanitation system, lighting, AC system etc. Besides this, Dabgotra has also demanded details of quality, quantity, cost of equipments which are installed in the additional emergency block of the above said hospital. The trust chairman has further asked the concerned department in his RTI to give details of ECG machines, Ultrasound Machines, X- Ray Machines, C.T. Scan Machines, M.R.I, Ventilators etc Mark/ Company/ firm from where these items were purchased. "I have also asked for total amount allocated and amount spent, name of purchasing committee and rates mentioned in the tender actually paid on them," Som Nath Dabgotra informed. I have also sought details of the number of beds, almirahs, trolleys, tables, chairs, computers, company mark rates, rate floated in tenders/ rates actually paid. Pointing at a question, he said, as to why second and third flour of the additional emergency block have not made functional so far. He said that the authorities have failed to construct the ramp known as trolley way alongside the lift in the additional block.
