| Army organizing Investiture ceremony on Jan 18 | | | JAMMU |JAN 16
A grand ceremony for presentation of gallantry and distinguished service awards is being organized in Jammu cantonment to honour the soldiers who have done exceedingly well during the previous year.
Lieutenant General Daljeet Singh General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Command will present the awards in a glittering ceremony to be held on January 18. During this ceremony Mrs Mohini Daljeet Singh, President Western Command, Army Wives Welfare Association will also be interacting and presenting gifts to the next of kin of the deceased soldiers.
This ceremony will also be attended by senior IAS, IPS officers along with other important civil dignitaries, a Defence handout said..
