| REZ demand regularization | | |

SRINAGAR, Feb 1: A delegation of the Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats United Forum today met political advisor to Chief Minister Devinder Rana.
The delegation included Suhail Inamullah (Chairman), Dr. Khursheed (President), Reyaz (General Secretary), Arsheed Turrey (Senior Advisor) and all district coordinators of Kashmir division. According to a handout issued here today, it has been stated that threadbare discussions were held regarding regularization of REZs. Political Advisor took note of all the important issues and opined to take all the genuine issues to the government quarters. In the statement, Chairman of the forum Suhail Inamullah said that they have moved a representation no. 786/787/12 dated 05-02-12 to Chief Minister Office's for finalizing for 1st REZ (2007) conference.
While raising the demands, Inamullah said that government should create 2642 posts of VAEA's which have already been approved by the state cabinet before the budget session so that REZ work against available posts which in turn will secure their future. He said that REZ should be paid basic salary at the earliest to sustain their basic needs. |
