| NCC Reasi drubs Bagh-e-Bahu by 7 wickets | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 1: National Cricket Club (NCC), Reasi thrashed Bagh-e-Bahu Cricket Club easily by 7 wickets to advance in the ongoing Reasi Cup T20 Cricket Tournament, organised by Reasi Cricket Club in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Police at Sports Stadium, Reasi today.
Batting first, Bagh-e-Bahu Club managed to score 94 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 9 wickets in the process. Monu (25) and Ashwani (19) were the main scorers, while extras contributed 15 runs to the total. For NCC, Shubam was the pick of the bowlers, who scalped 4 important wickets, while Sanjay Sharma took 3 and Sudershan and Jaggu one wicket each.
NCC chased the target in 12.2 overs by losing 3 wickets, thus won the match by 7 wickets. Jasbir Singh and Sanjay Sharma contributed 28 and 26 runs to the total respectively. Dsilva took 2 wickets and Kamal one for Bagh-e-Bahu Club. Sanjay Sharma of NCC Reasi was adjudged man of the match for taking 3 wickets and scoring 26 valuable runs. The match was officiated by Sajad Ahmed and Ram Singh as umpires, while Ajaz Ahmed maintained the scorebook, while the tournament is being held under the supervision of Nadeem Bhat, Vikas Sharma and Vikas Baru. |
