| Awareness workshop of Handicrafts artisans held | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb2: One day awareness camp/workshop of Handicrafts artisans members of Cooperative Societies of Jammu district was held on today at Village
Jagiti Nagrota.
The Camp was organized by the Dy.Registrar Induscos, Jammu with the collaboration of Industrial Cooperative Societies of Jammu District.
The camp was inaugurated by Dev officer Handicrafts Namrata Dogra who was also the chief guest.
The main objective for organizing such camps/workshop is to create awareness amongst the artisans/members of the Industrial coop. societies and masses in generally especially the women folk about the schemes lunched by the state govt as well as Govt. of India.
The officers of various departments such as district industry centre, Women Development Corporation, Rural Development Co-coordinator Kalarnkari Society and Camp Commandant of Migrant Camp were also present on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion the chief Guest stressed upon the artisans/ participants to come forward and affiliate with the handicrafts activities and avail the benefits of the handicrafts schemes. As this sector provides a vast opportunity of employment, the Development Officer Handicrafts and Dy. Registrasr Induscos,Jammu also spoke on the occasion and guide the participants to come under the fold of Induscos wing after completing their training.
The Officers from the other departments have also aware the participants in detail about the schemes of their Departments.
The peoples/participants have appreciated the efforts made by the officers of various department to make aware the peoples about the schemes run by their departments for organizing such camps. |
