Bhaderwah trounces Ramban by 5 wickets in Reasi Cup | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 2: Sailing on a five wicket haul by Sanjeev and a superb innings of 57 runs by Sameer Malik, Bhaderwah Cricket Club drubbed Ramban XI by 5 wickets to sail into the next round of the ongoing Reasi Cup T20 Cricket Tournament, being organised by Reasi Cricket Club in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) at Sports Stadium, Reasi today. Winning the toss and batting first, Ramban XI failed to tackle the nagging line and length of Bhaderwah Club bowlers and the whole side bundled out for 119 runs in the 19.3 overs. Tariq Shan contributed highest 49 runs. For Bhaderwah Sanjeev scalped five important wickets. Bhaderwah Club in reply chased the target in 13 overs by losing 5 wickets in the process, thus won the match by 5 wickets. Sameer Malik played a brilliant innings of 57 runs, while Sanjeev and Vipin contributed 16 and 14 runs to the total respectively. None of the bowlers was so impressive from Ramban XI. Sanjeev of Bhaderwah Club was adjudged man of the match for his five wicket haul. The match was officiated by Sajad Ahmed, Lilly and Thakur, while the tournament is being organised by Nadeem Bhat, Vikas Baru and Vikas Sharma. Meanwhile, Jugal Kishore Sharma, former minister was chief guest in today's match. |
