| Guru Ravidass Sabha to celebrate 635th Parkash Divas | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 2: All J&K Guru Ravidass Sabha is going to celebrate 635th Parkash Divas of Sant Shiromani Shri Guru Ravidass ji Maharaj.
In this connection a grand Shoba Yatra shall be organized on 5th of February 2012 that will commence from head office of the Sabha, Gurudwara Guru Ravidass Maharaj Krishna Nagar, Jammu at 11 a.m.
The Shoba Yatra after passing through different markets of Jammu city shall finally culminate at Parade Ground Jammu at about 2 p.m.
Shoba Yatra shall be led by 108 Swami Gurudeep Giri ji Maharaj of Dera Pathankot and all the branches of the Sabha along with devotees from a walks of life are expected to accompany Shoba Yatra in thousands.
At Parade Ground Jammu spiritual sermons shall be delivered by 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri ji Maharaj.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah sahib shall be the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dy CM Tara Chand is also expected to attend the function.
Similarly on 8th February, the Prakash Divas of Guru Maharaj shall be celebrated with great fervor and religious gaiety in the state level function at Head Office complex i.e Gurudwara Guru Ravidass ji Maharaj Krishna Nagar, Jammu from 11 a.m, to 5 p.m.
Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare Gulam Nabi Azad sahib is expected to attend the function as Chief Guest on the occasion.
Tara Chand DY CM was the guest of honour in addition to Chaman Lal Gupta MLA and B.R. Kundal MLC.
Many MLA's, Heads of many socio-religious organizations, and devotes in large number shall pay their obeisance on the occasion. |
