| Khajuria gets construction of Nanu Shah Gali lane started | | | EARLY TIMES
Jammu, Feb 2:Lack of coordination between different departments of the government is the root cause of the problems being faced by the people in Jammu city.
This was alleged by BJP national executive member & MLA Ashok Khajuria, who alongwith Jammu district president Rajesh Gupta, got the work of construction of lane in Nanu Shah Gali in W.No. 4 of the Jammu East Constituency.
Ashok Khajuria said that there is hardly a single day in a calendar year when the roads and lanes of Jammu city are not being dug by the departments like the PHE, PWD, JMC and now the NBCC.
He said that it is due to the lack of proper coordination between these departments that the Jammu city has become the city of debris, sand and mud.
While one department undertakes the work to lay water pipes and later covers the area by black topping, another department wakes up and starts digging the same area for some other purpose.
One cannot understand why the departments do not plan the their works in coordination so that any area which is once dug is used simultaneously by all the departments for carrying out their developmental works and when leveled, covered and black topped, should not be touched again for atleast 5 years.
Officials of JMC and PHE including Paramjit Singh, Ramesh Koul, Sanjay, Anil Mishra and BJP leaders Jaideep Sharma, Karan Singh, Rajnish Jain, Subash Gupta, Rajesh Khajuria, Dalip Gupta, Vijay Mahajan, Arun Sethi, Varun Malhotra, Tarseem Jain, Inder ji, Satpal Samotra, Ajesh Mangotra and others were present on the occasion. |
