| Full Court reference to mourn demise of Adv GL Goel | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 2: Full Court reference to mourn the demise of Adv GL Goel was presided over by Chief Justice FM Ibrahim Kalifulla and other judges of the High Court including Justice Virender Singh, Justice JP Singh and Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar.
At this occasion Chief Justice said that his death is sure to cause an aching void in the hearts of the members of his family. His loss his irreparable for the legal fraternity and his memories will linger on in our minds. Chief Justice on behalf of the brother judges express deep sympathies with the bereaved members of the family of the deceased and observed silence in honour of the departed soul.
President Bar Association Jammu Adv BS Salathia paid rich tribute to the Justice Moti Lal Bhat on behalf of Bar Association Jammu and on behalf of State Govt. Additional General MI Qadiri paid rich tribute. The members of Registry of High Court Jammu Wing, Subordinate Court and Members of the Bar Association also attend the full court reference. After the full court reference, the Court work will remain suspended for the rest of day. Advocate GL Goel was born on October 21, 1921 and graduated from Prince of Wales College, Jammu. He passed his LL.B Degree from Bombayin the year 1958 and strated practice in Jammu in 1960 and died on January 14, 2012. |
