NPP Chief's reminder to J&K CM | Spell out the 'political solution' for state | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Feb 2: Bhim Singh, chairman, National Panthers Party and member, National Integration Council in his hard-hitting rejoinder imposed to the Chief Minister of J&K asked him to spell out the 'political solution' he has in mind vis-à-vis Jammu and Kashmir. The NPP Chief said that angry leadership in Hurriyat Conference has been drum-beating on this issue with an ulterior motive to exploit the innocent Kashmiries and browbeat the Central leadership. He questioned J&K Chief Minister who has been walking on the crutches of the lame state Congress about his credibility on this demand. Does he mean to hold a plebiscite in Kashmir? Or does he mean to blackmail the Centre as his father and grandfather had been doing for 60 years to raise their revenues and gain their wealth and power? The NPP Chief in his rejoinder reminded the Chief Minister about his blackmailing spree which he has been indulging right since he was rigged into Lok Sabha from Srinagar Constituency. He has been hobnobbing with RSS and BJP right from the beginning. He has been using the 'uncrowned prince' in Delhi to gather sympathies for him in the South and North Blocks, though unsuccessfully. He has managed to get illegal allotment of a government bungalow in Akbar Road for his family where the security police of J&K has been taking care with half a dozen vehicles of Govt. of J&K. His continuation as Chief Minister has endangered the security of the state as he has turned out a security risk. Bhim Singh reminded the Chief Minister that there is only political issue facing the people of J&K and i.e. authoritarian, undemocratic and rigged rule of the Abdullah family. As long as democracy is not restored in J&K there shall be no civil and political rights available to the people of J&K. The Panthers Chief said that opposition by the Abdullah family to the Delimitation of J&K gives a clear indication that this family rule shall not let the democracy enter the threshold of the state from any side. The Panthers Party Chief said the only way out to find a respectable and legitimate solution to the political problem of J&K is the Reorganization of the State by allowing Civil Secretariats to run at both the places, Srinagar and Jammu around the year. All the three regions of the State should have separate Legislative Assemblies so that the people of the three regions may live a dignified life and run their political affairs themselves without any interference. The cultural and political identity of each region can be protected only after the Reorganization of the State. Let the echelons of power in Delhi continue their love affair with the ruling Abdullahs, no one shall mind. The Panthers Party has adopted its agenda for 2012 for the Reorganization of the entire State of J&K and the Chief Minister should understand its meaning if he has enough courage and capacity to absolve it. |
