| Warm welcome accorded to Mahant Manjit Singh Ji | | | Early TImes Report
Jammu, Feb 3: Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Gurdwara Yaadgaar Mahant Bachittar Singh, Bhata village, Rajouri alongwith hundreds of devotees accorded warm welcome to 108 Mahant Manjit Singh Ji of Dera Sant Pura, Nagali Sahib Poonch on Saturday,28 Jan 2011 on the barsi of Mahant Bachittar Singh Ji. On this occasion a religious function was organised in Gurdwara in which Mahant Manjit Singh Ji asked the Sangat to celebrate coming Sikh occasions and Gurpurabs with great fervour.
Meanwhile Mahant Sahib on the proposal of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Sikh Youth Organisation decided to construct Gurdwara building over the birth place of Great Sikh General Banda Singh Bahadur where five Singh Sahib from Amritsar and Cabinet Minister of Punjab Sucha Singh Langah had laid the foundation stone during Fateh Diwas March. Formal committee of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Sikh Youth organisation under the chairmanship of Mahant Manjeet Singh was announed. President Sikh Youth Organisation Rajwinder Singh Puri and Vice-president Gurcharan Singh also spoke on the occasion. Mahant ji blessed the youth to and told them to propagate the message of peace to humanity as per the principles of Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji. Later Guru Ka Langar was also served to the Sangat. |
