| ReT teacher’s stir enter 7th day. | | | JAMMU | JAN 16
The on going protest of the Jammu and Kashmir Rehabar-e –taleem teachers and EV’s today entered seventh day with teacher’s organizing a protest in support of their demands wearing taps on their mouths, the protesters assembled war the Indira chowk from where they tried to proceed towards Secretariat, but were stopped by the police later, they held a sit in at Indra chowk. The agitation was led by Jammu and Kashmir ReT teacher’s forum trader ship that Includes Ghazi Abdul Aziz and Azaz hussain Shah.
The ReT teacher’s were on strike for the past few days, demanding enhancement of their wages up to the basic pay, up radiation of EG’s centres into regular primary schools inclusion of adhoc tenure in their service year and relaxation of probation year from five years to three years.
Meanwhile the state unit of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP today have condemned the callons attitude of the coalition government for not mitigating the genuine problems of the striken ReT teacher’s and EV’s and urged upon the government to settle their demands.
